Today I am sharing my skincare routine with you. The products featured in today's post are from Orogold cosmetics, a genius skincare company that actually use gold and other amazing ingredients in their products, which is really cool. I have reviewed the 24k Vitamin C Facial Booster Serum & 24k Anti Aging Eye Serum below. I am absolutely loving both of these!

24K Vitamin C Booster Facial Serum
On my face, I've been using this 24K Vitamin C Booster Facial Serum, I absolutely love this serum and I'll def repurchase it again. I like the sleek gold packaging and the best thing is honestly the smell. The experts at Orogold say that this serum "This luxurious facial serum flecked with gold instantly provides luminous and bright looking skin" and I have to agree. When you apply a pump to your face, it has such a fresh orange fragrance and really re-energises my skin. It makes your skin feel instantly hydrated and softer.
I've been using this most mornings before my makeup application like a primer and it makes my foundation glide on a lot smoother. The foundation I'm using at the moment for during the week is actually this BB Cream, followed up with L'Oreal True Match Powder.
On a more personal note I've had really bad skin the past couple of weeks and from what I can see it is detox acne. I started juicing a couple weeks back, you've probably seen pics of my smoothies & recipes on my instagram. Anyway since then I've had just horrible skin, spots, red and it's just so unlike my skin. Even during my teenage years I was lucky enough I sailed through with a pretty clear face!
I consulted a friend of mine, who is a gym instructor and did some of my own research on the internet about this and basically what happens is, when you go under a radical detox / change in diet (as I am with my juicing) all that bad stuff and toxins from your body leave and they mostly come out through your face. Horrible nightmare!!!! I've been slapping on the concealer but I have to say I've also been using my Orogold 24k peel which I purchased on a trip to London (I previously reviewed here) followed by the serum and eye cream and It has helped a lot. I'm finally over the worst of it!! Yay!!!

The 24K Anti-Aging Eye Serum is a wonderful eye serum to have on your bedside table for use at night and in the mornings. Puffy eyes is my pet peeve and one of my biggest skin issues. I hate looking tired all the time so I have tried many eye creams to help that. This one in particular is ace at de-puffing them and giving them a little boost when they need it.
The experts promise that the breakthrough formula with Gold, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) reduces the appearance of fine lines. Best if followed with the 24K Intensive Eye Formula Cream. It firms eye area and reduces appearance of crow’s feet. I've only been using it a couple of weeks and I have noticed my eyes look fresher and more brighter so I'm looking forward to see the results long term.
